LIST OF STORES
Places where you can purchase 240sx parts. And my thoughts on them.
- OEM
- Aftermarket
- All

Amayama
I love this place. So Amayama is based in Japan, but I believe has some warehouses throughout the world. They are another warehouse that stocks a ton of JDM parts. They often have parts you can’t easily find, and have illustrated images of all the parts of a particular aspect of the car, so you can know what you’re getting. You can sometimes have to pay import fees on stuff, but you’d have to order a lot to hit that. Shipping is pretty reasonable for small enough packages. Check here before buying on other sites. A good example is weather-seals for s-chassis. You can buy them from stores based in america, but they tend to include the cost of importing them. Take the time to price out what it would cost to get the item from Amayama, versus what it costs stateside. You can sometimes save money this way, and they usually ship pretty quickly.

Nissan Parts CC
Great group of people who are very involved with the community. They post weekly videos on parts they’re selling. They are a business, so it is focused on that, but they don’t HAVE to make content geared towards us, and they do. They also have a lot of stock for s-chassis parts, and keep getting stuff in. The downside is they don’t offer free shipping, really ever, so you’re paying extra for shipping, and usually have to wait a week or more to get your parts. Plus side, they include a hi-chew in every package which is pretty dope!

Enjuku Racing
Not too much to say, other than they are a warehouse store for products. You can usually visit the websites of the manufacturers directly, but they have a large variety in one easy place, with fantastic customer service.

RHD Japan
Very similar to Amayama, they’re a japanese based company that sells a lot of japanese aftermarket parts. So they have a lot of Nismo, Cusco, Kawai, Denso (The people who made the parts for a lot of Nissans stuff) GReddy, Tomei Japan (Different than Tomei USA).

Nengun
Also a Japanese based store. Similar to Amayama and RHDJapan. I’ve not sued them But I imagine its a similar experience. You can check between these three sites for parts you’re looking for, if one doesn’t have it, another might. Or its out of production, and you have to buy used.

DokiDori
DokiDori is a dedicated individual, who has spent years crafting and molding amazing bodykits, and coilovers for the S-Chassis Community. The guy is incredibly talented, and provides top notch parts. Anything you order from him is going to fit right. Unfortunately, he was one of the few manufacturers of ABS body parts for 240sx’s but has since decided to no longer produce them due to physical health issues. He still provides excellent quality fiberglass and Coilovers.

J-Replace
J-Replace is relatively new to the market. And they’re run by Enjuku Racing. Some of the benefits of these products is that Enjuku has some of the best customer service around. And they’re one of the few suppliers out there who are involved with the community to the extent that they have reached out to manufacturers to start re-manufacturing difficult to find parts. So thank them, regardless of if their products or new, and not tested. They’re at least doing something to keep these cars alive!

ISR
When it comes to things like Manifolds, or Exhausts, down pipes, etc. Go to town! They’re usually just metal pipes. And no one who is even considering an ISR downpipe is doing something at a level that requires the most rigorous manufacturing. So go for it! I’m not trying to say ISR is just crap, they are one of the few major manufacturers of after market parts for the 240sx community, and I’m thankful that we have someone who is partaking in our community to that extent. And they make a massive amount of add-ons and parts that are easily affordable and attainable.
THOUGHTS
MORE THOUGHTS
Heres where I can have a bit more space to write out my experiences with these companies. Its mostly repeat information from above, but I wanted to put a bit more on come of these stores, to fully illustrate my points.
For clarification, I’m basing these thoughts on more restoration and streetability of a 240sx. Not so much the get it done before the drift event this weekend thought process. If that’s what you’re doing, get what you can, and use what works!
ISR
Okay, I know, yes they are largely manufactured in China. But so is most stuff out there. And ISR has come a long way. However, I will say that I would stay away from Anything with electronics that they make. Like MAF Sensors, or Knock Sensors. Its tempting because they are so cheap…but these cars are running on wishes and miracles, its best not to tempt it with a MAF that is operating on something made by the cheapest bidder.

That said however, I have noticed a few things with their products. For example I bought one of their replacement fenders, and it fits really nicely, however where the top corner meets up with the door, there is a gap. And not just a fitment gap, the point is just shorter, and leaves a small gap, that I just don’t care for. Granted I’m a purist when it comes to my personal 240, and don’t like that aesthetically. As far as it functioning, and being better than a rusted out, dented, falling off fender, they’re fantastic. I’ve also bought their Power Steering rack, and so far its been just fine, and I’m really glad to have a company manufacturing something, where I can actually call them and get answers.
Chase Bays
I’m kinda meh on their products. I used a Fuel pressure Regulator that literally exploded on me. Admittedly that was partly user error, as my Fuel pressure was really high, but it shouldn’t have failed the way it did. I was also advised by my local tuner to avoid them if I can. They make alright stuff, but there are better made products for a bit more money.
Martin from RS Enthralpy specifically noted that Japanese made parts, like the Tomei Japan FPR or Something from Radium Engineering is really the way to go.
